Last updated: 2026-05-19

Welcome to the Rafaela Kalderon Studio website. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use personal information about you when you use our website, and in particular when making inquiries regarding custom bridal and evening gowns, when visiting our studio, and when contacting us in any other way. This policy has been drafted in accordance with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981.

1. Information We Collect and How We Collect It

When you use the "Contact" or inquiry form on our website, we will ask you to provide the following information:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • Event/wedding date and collection of interest (optional)
  • Any additional details you choose to include in the free-text field. Please note that any information you enter in this field will be transmitted to us as-is; therefore we ask that you only include details essential to your request. If you choose to enter personal information about yourself (or others) in this field, you confirm that you consent (or have obtained consent from the person concerned) to our collection, processing and use of that personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. The same applies, with necessary changes, if you choose to contact us through any other channel, including our WhatsApp account, email, or our social media pages.

If you choose to contact us via a third-party platform, the content of the correspondence may be transmitted to that platform - this information will be processed in accordance with the relevant platform's privacy policy, and we recommend reviewing it before contacting us through that channel.

Additional information collected in the course of providing our services may include your body measurements, your order details, and any other information related to the order you have placed with us.

In addition, we may publish photographs of you taken during your visit to our studio, subject to your consent. Furthermore, if you tag one of our managed social media pages, including on Instagram or Facebook, and/or post directly on one of our pages - we will consider this your consent to share the tagged photo and/or post on our social media pages and/or website.

You are under no legal obligation to provide us with information about yourself - if you choose to do so, providing the information is done of your own free will and with your consent. Please note that without providing the required information, you may not be able to receive our services.

You confirm that any information you provide voluntarily is accurate, complete, clear, and up-to-date, and if you provide information about another person - you confirm that you have obtained their consent to share their personal information with us for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

2. Purpose of Data Collection

We collect your information strictly for operational and service purposes, specifically:

  • To evaluate if we can accommodate your request and create the dress within your required timeline, and to stay in contact with you regarding your order.
  • To respond to your specific inquiry.

We do not use your information to send marketing materials or newsletters.

3. Data Sharing and Third Parties

The information you provide is shared exclusively with Rafaela and the studio team, and with suppliers and service providers we engage from time to time (see section 5 below), for the purpose of handling your inquiry and delivering the items you have ordered.

  • Technical data processors: Our website uses a technical email service called "Resend" solely to securely transmit your inquiry to the studio's email inbox. They act only as a conduit for message delivery and do not use your data for their own purposes.
  • Payment processing is carried out securely through third-party providers to protect your payment details. They are directly responsible to you under their own terms of service and privacy policy. We have no control over the security of information held by payment processors, and therefore we shall not be liable for any damage or loss, direct or indirect, of any kind, that may result from the payment process.

5. International Data Transfer

Your information may be processed on servers located outside of Israel, including in countries where the level of protection may be lower than that provided under Israeli law. Our website is hosted by Vercel (United States), and email delivery is handled by Resend (United States). Both providers maintain industry-standard security practices.

6. Your Rights

Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, you have the following rights:

  • To review the personal information we hold about you.
  • To request the correction or deletion of your personal information if it is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear, or out-of-date.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. In the event of material changes, the updated policy will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
