Our commitment

At Rafaela Kalderon, we place supreme importance on providing an equal and accessible service to all our customers, including people with disabilities. We operate, as much as possible, to ensure that our digital and physical services are accessible - based on the belief that every person deserves equality of opportunity and independence.

Accessibility level and exemptions

This website has been made accessible in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Accessibility Adjustments for Service), 2013.

Accessibility status: the site is adapted to the accessibility guidelines of the Israeli Standard IS 5568 at Level AA, which complies with the international WCAG 2.1 document.

Technological exemption: the business operates as a small business (micro-enterprise) and is therefore exempt from performing complex technological accessibility adjustments on the website in accordance with Regulation 35C of the Accessibility Regulations. Nevertheless, we have performed basic adjustments for the benefit of all users' browsing experience.

Website accessibility features

The following adjustments are live on every page of the site:

  • A dedicated accessibility panel (opened from the wheelchair icon at the bottom-left) with controls for text size, high contrast, grayscale, inverted colors, highlighted links, readable font, and disabled animations - settings are saved per visitor.
  • Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element, plus a skip-to-content link.
  • Semantic HTML with a single H1 per page, an orderly heading hierarchy, and landmark regions (header, nav, main, footer).
  • Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images, and empty alt text for purely decorative imagery.
  • Color contrast verified against WCAG 2.1 AA for text and interactive elements.
  • Automatic respect for the user's operating-system preference to reduce motion (prefers-reduced-motion).
  • Bilingual support (Hebrew and English) with proper per-element language declarations so screen readers pronounce content correctly.
  • Form fields with visible labels, proper input types, and accessible error messages.
  • Minimum touch-target size of 44×44 pixels for all interactive elements on mobile.
  • Support for browser zoom up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.

Physical accessibility - studio visits

It is important to us that you feel comfortable and safe when visiting the studio. The following arrangements are in place:

  • Wheelchair access: the entrance to the studio is fully accessible for wheelchair users.
  • Stairs: the path to the studio is level and has no stairs.
  • Elevator: the building has an elevator providing convenient access to the studio floor.
  • Parking: there is no dedicated disabled parking adjacent to the building, but an organized public parking lot is located directly across from the building.

Known limitations

Some imagery on the site is loaded from third-party platforms (such as Instagram). Where possible we provide text alternatives and direct links. We review this statement and the site's accessibility periodically and update it as needed.
